The Team

On the night we will be joined by a team which includes two renound sprit medium’s, ghost hunters, pluckley villagers, historians and pluckley paranormal experts on hand with historical knowledge.

Oli KempOli Kemp

Oli continues to be a skeptic and even thought he’s had his own unexplainable experiences in the past, many of them were years ago. He even claims to have been pushed down stairs at a theatre in Medway with no one else around when he was 15! He feels that maybe many of the unexplainable things that have happened to him in life are just coincidence and is still to see firm proof that such a world exists where sprits interact with humans.

Oli : "I had hoped that last years Frightday Night at Fort Amhurst, Chatham would have sealed it for me and even though I was open to an experience with the paranormal, just like Marcus our sprit medium had suggested I be, nothing was conclusive enough for me to convert to a solid believer. What is it they say? “To the believer no proof is necessary; to the non-believer no proof is possible”! I really do want to believe i’ve had no evidence to sway me.”

Oli hosts kmfm's Breakfast Congregation in Medway, and can’t wait to visit the secret room at the Black Horse Pub.

Oli : "I've spent time at the Black horse pub on many occasions in the past and it really is a typical quaint, village pub and it’s difficult to see how anything paranormal could befall the building but I’m interested to see how the darkness changes the atmosphere. It’s going to be an amazing show!”

Rob WillsRob Wills

Rob is a true Kent lad. Born and dragged up in Whitstable by his mum and dad who dread phone calls from him just incase he wants something! He lived there for 18 years, schooling in Canterbury and left school when he decided that radio was for him.

After years of being told radio didn’t want him, we just had to give him a job to keep him out of trouble.

After spending 3 years living in Ashford, Rob now calls Maidstone home, and knows most of Kent like the back of his hand.

He is cheeky, loud, rude and not afraid to disagree with ANYONE; and yet, the strange thing is ......you will love this about him!

You can catch Rob playing at clubs all over Kent, playing some of his own remixes and sometimes making appearances on kmfm Dance as a special guest DJ.

You can listen to Rob across Kent every week day on kmfm Drivetime, where he will have chances for you to pick the music, prize giveaways, interviews, the music you want and traffic and travel to get you where you need to be, stress free.

Listen weekdays from 2pm.

Davey BDavey B

Davey B is a converted sceptic, after a few experiences in his life, that cannot be "explained" he now has an open mind to the paranormal, in particular last year's frightday night at fort amhurst where he saw a spirit, and Marcus, described exactly what Dave was seeing.

Dave : "Last year Marcus explained that opening your mind and believing there really could be a possibility of the after life, paranormal, spirits etc. And that believing really helps to be able to communicate, and since then, I have had a few unusual things happen. I'm certain I have a spirit in my house, my cat will stare into thin air, and follow nothing across the room as if someone is walking past me! The strange thing is I can sense it too!"

Dave usually hosts kmfm's Friday Feeling, and is very much looking forward to Frightday night 2009.

Dave : "I've been to The Black horse pub already, and since then, there have been some very strange goings on, the ghost hunt team have had a member fall ill, their car breakdown, plus we've had problems with our equipment whilst doing tests, I've been told that the spirits don't want us there... but by hook or by crook we will be there, so see you at 10 on Friday"

Vanessa ElmsVanessa Elms

Vanessa is strangely disappointed that she has had no paranormal experiences to speak of to date, apart form a ‘funny turn’ at Fort Amhurst last year which can’t really be explained; but is still not quite enough to confirm her belief in the existence of spirits. Yet Vanessa probably wants to be frightened out of her wits more than most ‘normal’ people.

“I can’t think of anything more exciting than seeing, hearing or feeling something literally out of this world; but I can honestly say I have never had any unexplainable weird experiences in my life that lead me to believe that these things happen. I’m heading to Pluckley with an open mind, and realise the atmosphere and surroundings will be rather frightening, but I won’t be fooling myself that the sound of the breeze in the trees is the voice of a long lost Great Auntie trying to make contact, that’s for sure.”

Vanessa has never been to Pluckley before and cannot wait for what is going to be an intrusive, entertaining and daring overnight broadcast for Halloween 2009 on kmfm!

“Bring it on!!”
